Late entry that I play cheat and edit date with. This is the last item I purchased today:

I know right :/
Here’s other less boring activities of mine though…
Anthony and I ventured to Bei Shang Chuan Steamboat Restaurant 北上川麻辣锅餐馆 once more. Our previous experiences haven’t been exactly fantastic but we decided to try it once more. I would say that the quality has improved quite a fair bit and it was a satisfying dinner – nothing special and fantastic, but if you’re at VivoCity and crave for steamboat, it’s probably a place you can consider.

LOL at the disclaimer. Should patrons exceed 2hrs of dining time, they would be charged $10 per hour of part thereof. Usually buffet restaurants just stick notices on not to waste food and that wastage would be charged (this restaurant has it too) but this is something refreshing to me.

If you’re seated by the glass, you can take in the night lights from Sentosa.

Choose 2 soup base from a variety of flavors. Our pick was the spicy soup base and chicken soup base. Anthony usually orders 小辣 low level of spiciness; not because we can’t take spicy food, but because it wouldn’t be too oily.

I dislike the fact that the veges are cut into too small pieces. I feel like I’m eating leftover pieces.

The steamboat restaurant is buffet style. The pricing was reasonable as well.

I was pretty annoyed with the fact that there were flies in the restaurant. Like HUGE flies. One of them ended up in Anthony’s lime juice wtf.
Bei Shang Chuan Steamboat Restaurant 北上川麻辣锅餐馆 is located at Level 3 of VivoCity. It is tucked in a quiet corner right behind Daiso, further down from The King Louis.
