This is weird because my blog name is my own name. So it’s equivalent of asking me the meaning of my name.
Zilin Tan = 陈紫琳
Tan is my surname of course, and if I break down Zi and Lin it means purple and a type of gem respectively.
My parents once told me that the reason why my siblings and I do not have any common characters in our names is because they had asked a fortune teller to come up with names that matches our individual birth characters.
Coincidentally purple seems to be 1 of Sagittarius’ lucky color and guess what? Purple is actually my fav. color.
Thank you fortune teller, because of you I got my fav. color in my name!
